Midori magic leads lucky 10 to Istanbul

Petaling Jaya, 19 November, 2012: Hitachi's Midori Raya 2012 campaign concluded recently with five lucky winners receiving a 9-day round trip for two to Istanbul, Turkey. Throughout its three-month run in conjunction with the Hari Raya season, the contest captivated numerous Hitachi customers around the nation with an attractive mix of prizes, fun and interaction.

For the five Grand Prize winners, being named as such was a dream come true. Noor Hasimah binti Shahar, Goh Poh Eng, Azmil Bin Jamin, Ngan Yuet Keng and Saw Chong Siang could hardly believe their ears when notified of coming out tops in the Hitachi Midori Raya Contest, and thus winning an exotic getaway with a loved one.

Apart from the Istanbul grand prize, contestants also stood to win Hitachi eco-friendly home appliances such as the Inverter Big French Refrigerator, Made-in-Japan Superheated Steam Microwave Oven, Inverter Front Load Washing Machine and Made-in-Japan Proactive Air Purifier. Plus, there were also additional prizes of 70 iPod Shuffle and 9 iPads up for grabs as weekly & monthly prizes.

Indeed, environmental conservation is a major feature of Hitachi home appliances, as evidenced by its signature eco-friendly range. Through the Hitachi Midori Raya Contest, Hitachi aims to drive home the simple message that caring for the environment can begin even from using daily home appliances.

Adding to the excitement of the contest was also the eye-catching Hitachi Midori Raya mobile truck. For six weeks the truck made special appearances at selected Klang Valley locations. In the process, members of the public got to experience up close different aspects of Hitachi's latest innovations, products and promotions.
